Sad Meeting With Al Gore
I met our Vice President Al Gore during a sad time in my very close friend's life as well as mine. My close friend's husband was killed in the Value Jet crash over the everglades several years ago. He was a limo driver for Mr. Gore when he came home to Carthage, Tn. where I live also. Mr. Gore also came to the visitation and I got to speak to him and Tipper. I'm not a very political person but the show of compassion from Mr. Gore to my friend's family was very touching. He stayed in touch with the family and continues to write to her and her family. I know this story is not a happy one but it helped me to see a very personal side of Mr. Gore and I appreciate the time I got to visit with him.
