Renee Zellweger

I was at a restaurant a few years ago in Hollywood, and at an outside table, with her dog, was Renee Zellweger, reading a script. It was night-time, and having come across a lot of celebrities in my everyday life (at the market, pharmacy, etc.) I decided to go up to her instead of my usual ignoring the celebrity. I went out and spoke with her for a few minutes, about how one of my favorite movies was "Empire Records" (she was most famous still for "Jerry Maguire" then) and she couldn't have been more gracious. She has a reputation as being a nice person and she really was. I let her be and thrilled my visiting parents, who watched through the window from inside the restaurant.
