Dinner with Eddie Money
Hi all! In 2007, I went to the Daytona 500. My husband and I were fortunate enough to have seats in a suite, which was sponsored by a client of my husband's company. Little did we know that we would be dining with Eddie Money.
Before it was known that he was in the room, I literally ran into him as I was walking to the bathroom. I did not recognize him until I was told that he was Eddie Money. I was a huge fan of his back in the day. I went outside to get some fresh air and to hear the race cars zoom by and he was out there as well. We spoke for a while and even sang a few of his songs together. I know it sounds corny but he was actually the one who approached me for conversation and the singing.
I took a few photographs of he and I together, if anyone would like to see them. I don't have them downloaded onto the computer yet but I will, if necessary.
Overall, Eddie Money was a very nice and friendly man. He seemed a little out of it but he explained to me that he had taken so many drugs in the past that he is now paying the price for it. I have since seen him on television and I have to say that he looks really good.
