Met Backstage at Champions On Ice
I met Michelle Kwan when I snuck backstage with a large Italian family at Champions on Ice in 2005. She was super sweet and very gracious - even more beautiful in person! I knew that she was Chinese so I started speaking Chinese to her and she just looked at me completely confused. It turns out that she speaks Cantonese, a different Chinese dialect! I felt so stupid and was extremely embarrassed!
