Putting roses on Glady's grave.
When I was at the cemetery putting flowers on my grandfather's grave, Elvis was just a few grave sites over putting roses on his mother's. I had loved Elvis for years but seeing him in tears paying his respect to his mother I did not approach him.
I was lucky enough to catch him in front of Graceland a few years later when I was 16. He was on his horse and I was in the front so close I could reach out and touch his horse. In fact I was so close that he spoke to me which almost caused me to faint! He said to me, "Please back up. The horse might bite you!" Which I did. It immediately started raining and he decided to leave, leaving me standing there speechless but still without an autograph!
