Traveling the Fjords

Norway is big. Damn big for a European country. I mean, you can make it down the length of Italy via boat in about a day and a half. You can't even make it from a major city to another major city in a day and a half in Norway.

I wish I was a more exciting man, but unfortunately or fortunately, today was a day of relaxation. Margherita went to the gym and did something called Pilates. I went to the Internet room to get some work done.

Lunch however was the highlight of the day. We found a table at the back of the ship. In this case, I mean the location quite literally. Not somewhere near the end or the half of the ship that is not closest to the front,, but the furthest back portion of the ship.

We sat there as long as we could, as the wake of the water spread out to our left and right.

In other news, Vincenzo Martinelli the classical guitarist from Australia performed that evening. This type of show was also typical. We heard a classical concert where he played pieces ranging from classic guitar to the theme from the Godfather.
