American Pickers

History may not be your best friend, but neither is grandma’s curio cabinet. The History Channel presents American Pickers in such a way that you will appreciate her Faberge eggs from yester year as moments in history

Follow two Iowa pickers as they travel the American countryside looking for historical treasure. Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz - otherwise known as “Antique Archaeology” dig through cluttered barns, attics, and cobweb-filled basements. Though they do make a pretty penny, the majority of the show is dedicated to discovering the story of America "one piece at a time".

The History Channel original documentary series, American Pickers airs new episodes Monday nights at 9/8c. The reality hit is currently filming season 5. Iowa-based, “Antique Archaeology” specializes in rare Americana collectibles featuring a gamut of old bikes and gas pumps. Hey, who said pickin’ was easy?

Does your grandma have a key to that cabinet? Go ask her for it and e-mail your stuff here! And the pickers may come knocking on your door.
