Basketball Wives

Professional basketball players score big on the court, but take double dribbling to a new level of “foul” in the VH1 reality series - Basketball Wives.

Basketball Wives examines the rocky relationships between professional basketball players and their significant others. Director and co-star Shaunie O’Neal, former wife of Shaquille O’Neal, grabs her girls to share stories of infidelity and scandal in this reality drama series.
Original cast members of seasons 1-3 include Tami Roman, Evelyn Lozada, Royce Reed, Suzie Ketcham, and Jennifer Williams (ex-wife of Eric Williams).
Basketball Wives is currently undergoing an extreme makeover since receiving mass criticism for several public incidences of physical assault. After two years and 4 seasons, Evelyn Lozada will leave the show resulting from a recent assault scandal involving newly ex-husband Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.
This is not a surprise given O’Neal’s on-camera visit to her pastor during the season 4 finale. O’Neal confesses her embarrassment accompanying the association she has with the show’s cast. Though the embarrassment may continue, she has made it clear on the reunion show that Basketball Wives will be moving in a more positive direction.
