Listen up Sex and the City fans, if you haven’t heard already you’ll hear it now that Carrie Bradshaw is back!

Newcomer AnnaSophia Robb is stepping into Carrie’s curly blonde locks and Manolos.

The Carrie Diaries premiered on the CW on Monday January 14. The show is based off the teen novel written by SATC author Candace Bushnell.

It follows a teenage Carrie in her high school years during the 1980s. After her mother recently passed away, her sister Dorritt is rebelling, her father Tom doesn’t know what to do with two teenage daughters, and Carrie just feels out of place.

She is surrounded by friends, Walt, Mouse and Maggie, but a young Bradshaw feels as if she isn’t getting enough out of life. That is when she makes the decision to accept an internship at a law firm in Manhattan.

With the coming of a new boy, Sebastian, played by Austin Butler and all the Manhattan fun, Carrie’s life instantly becomes a little more exciting.

The cast is filled with fresh faces like Chloe Bridges, Ellen Wong, Stefania Owen, and many more. It’s going to be hard to fill the shoes of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha but these girls are sure going to try!
