Emily Owens MD

Emily Owens MD was a series on the CW starring Mamie Gummer as intern Emily Owens who furthers her education by interning in a hospital which she realizes is just like being back in high school.

Created by Jennie Snyder, the series kicked off in 2012 and was cancelled shortly thereafter showing just 13 episodes.

The cancellation of the show was due to low network ratings, but news of its cancellation sparked outrage among fans. Emily Owens fans created a Facebook page in the hopes of saving the series. The page currently has 62,000 plus likes.

Emily Owens MD also starred Justin Hartley, Aja Naomi King, Michael Rady, Necar Zadegan and Kelly McCreary.
