Rachel Zoe

The American stylist, entrepreneur and fashionista, Rachel Zoe Rosenzweig was born in New York City, New York in September 1, 1971. Rachel is the daughter of Leslie and Ron Rosenzweig, and sister of Pamela Rosenzweig. Believing that her last name sounded “too Jewish,” she started using her middle name instead and has kept it that way ever since.

After growing up in Millburn, New Jersey and graduating from Millburn High School, Zoe studied sociology and psychology at George Washington University. Before starting her successful career as a stylist, she worked at Gotham and YM magazine.

Without any official formal fashion training, Zoe has become a trademark and one of the biggest names in the industry having inclusively become the pioneer of one of the trendiest looks out there: “boho chic”. Now she has her own show on BRAVO, The Rachel Zoe Project, and has work with every A List celebrity woman out there. Nicole Richie, Demi Moore, Cameron Diaz, Keira Knightley, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Kate Beckinsale, Eva Mendes, Paula Patton and Anne Hathaway –just to name a few.

Zoe married investment banker Rodger Berman in 1996 and on March 22, 2011, their son, Skyler Morrison Berman was born at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The Rachel Zoe Project has contributed to turn Rachel Zoe into a well-established brand and a fully operational styling studio under the moniker Rachel Zoe Studio from where she oversees the public image of many of Hollywood’s most famous actors and actresses whose looks are always talked about at Red Carpet events such as the Oscar’s, Grammy’s, Emmy’s, among others.

Although her name has always been mentioned whenever Hollywood’s obsession with weight and size 0 is discussed but she has said she’s not to be blame and claimed: “I don’t have one client right now who is a size 0. All of my clients have athletic or curvy, healthy bodies.”
