White Collar is a USA Network's series starring Matt Bomer as the infamous con-man Neal Caffrey and Tim DeKay as his friend Special Agent Peter Burke. The show was created by Jeff Eastin.
Bomer as Neal Caffrey is a notorious thief, con man and forger. Bomer's character is captured by the FBI. Peter Burke, the FBI agent who captured Caffrey, eventually comes to an arrangement with Caffrey that he will help Burke catch other criminals as part of a work-release program. This begins an unconventional, however very successful, partnership. A partnership that becomes ultimately a friendship.
Neal Caffrey is a very charming criminal mastermind who plays a great foil to the dry and rigid FBI Burke. However, the two begin to rub off on each other, with Burke becoming less ossified and Caffrey growing in moral fiber. The two, given their arrangement, are a duo of crime stopping power, rich with humor, witty banter and complex relationship issues.
Matt Bomer was also in In Time, Magic Mike and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Beginning. Tim DeKay has been in a few films, but is better known as a TV series actor. However, his role on White Collar surely distinguishes him as a strong actor, and is a high note on his career.
