Martha Stewart made it public that she joined Match.com in an attempt to find a partner, and she narrowed down her search to two men out of 1,000 date requests.

Stewart, 71, met the men on the Today Show – Stan and Larry, both 68.

Stan, a filmmaker, said of the home mogul “I always really liked Martha. How could you not?" Us Weekly reports. They have met before, as Stan shot her in a commercial.

Larry, an international steel executive, also said "When I read the profile, she expressed the same feelings that all of us this age have.”

The next step will be for Stewart to go on dates with both men. She wanted to make clear, however, "None of these have been set up. None of this is fake. I just want everybody to know that because I want other women in a similar situation to mine to realize that it can be done . . . I hope."

Matt Lauer also laughed at his new role, saying “It’s now official, I’m ['Dating Game’ host] Jim Lange," The New York Post reports.
