The Icelandic band has signed on to appear in the next season of Game of Thrones.
The band, Jón Þór “Jónsi” Birgisson, Georg Hólm and Orri Páll Dýrason, are already shooting in Croatia for the hit HBO show, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss are fans of the band and admit they listen while shooting in the band's home country of Iceland.
The show is known for enlisting popular indie bands for music, such as The National and The Hold Steady. They wrote songs inspired by the Song of Ice and Fire saga. Coldplay and Snow patrol have also appeared on the show.
According to SFGate, the nature of their appearance on the show is still unknown.
The band appeared on TV for the first time this past year on the popular Fox show, The Simpsons.
The Coldplay band member who appeared on the show was Will Champion as a drummer and Wilko Johnson played a silent executioner.
The band also recently released a new album, titled Kveikur in June.
