21-year-old singer, Sky Ferreira, cancels the remaining US tour dates due to strained vocal cords.
Ferreira was on tour with Vampire Weekend. During a San Diego show on Tuesday, Ferreira strained her vocal cords, and had to withdraw from the rest of the tour.
She took to twitter to break the news to her fans.

WENN reports that Ferreira will miss out on shows in Albuquerque, Tulsa, Nashville, Kansas City, and Grand Prairie.
On October 21st, Ferreira is scheduled to headline an Elliot Smith Tribute Show in New York. She is also hoping to be back by October 27th for her debut album release concert in Los Angeles.
Just a few weeks ago, Ferreira was arrested, along with boyfriend Zachary Cole Smith, for drug possession.
"...it's annoying because I wasn't charged with his heroin. It says it. The public records are out there. I wasn't charged with it," Ferreira told Billboard. "Trust me, if I was even anywhere near that, they would've charged me because they had no problem charging me with other s**t. They were out to kind of like f**k with us."
Right now, Ferreira is resting and taking time for her voice to heal.
I'm too immature for this dry-erase board
