Will Ferrell is developing a new pilot for NBC that will be similar to Anchorman, but instead of behind a news desk, the main character will be in space.

The pilot is currently titled Mission Control and will be set in 1962, notes Entertainment Weekly. Even in the project’s official description, it promises to feel just like Anchorman, with a strong woman butting heads with a macho man who wants land on the moon. It is being set up as a workplace comedy.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s David Hornsby has been tapped to oversee the pilot, which Farrell will executive produce with his Anchorman creative partner Adam McKay. McKay directed both Anchorman films and wrote them with Farrell.

There’s no word on who will star in the pilot.

TV Guide notes that NBC also ordered two other pilots on Wednesday. Ellen More of Less comes from Parenthood’s Jason Katims. It focuses on a plus-size woman who just lost 110 pounds and hopes to start a new life. J.J. Philbin wrote the pilot.

Love Is Relative is about a husband and wife whose marriage is tested when her divorced brother moves in. Dan Mazer, who worked with Sacha Baron Cohen on Borat and The Dictator, wrote this pilot.
