Sony Pictures announces Cameron Crowe's next film will be released Christmas Day

Sony Pictures has announced that the latest film from Cameron Crowe will be released on Christmas Day. The movie is currently untitled. The film is being describe as a romantic comedy.

This is the latest film that Crowe is writing and directing and stars Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper and Rachel McAdams, Variety reported.

Deadline added that also staring in the upcoming film from Crowe will be Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin.

The movie, which is set in Hawaii, will tell the story of a celebrated military contract who returns to the site of his old career and re-connects with a long-lost loved while unexpectedly falling for the Air Force watchdog assigned to him.

Crowe will also be producing along side Scott Rudin.

This is not the only film that Crowe has been working on recently, he is also behind the upcoming Into The Woods from Disney and Unbroken from Universal.

Crowe is known for his work on Almost Famous and Jerry Maguire.
