AT&T cuts data plan prices again

In the continuous wireless provider war, AT&T has cut its data plan charges once again.

According to Reuters, the company announced on Saturday that it was cutting wireless data charges for individual customers who have no annual service contract in an effort to compete with T-Mobile.

CNN noted that AT&T Inc. reduced the price of its 2GB Mobile Share Value plan by $15 to $65 a month. The deal includes 2GB of data, plus unlimited talk and text in the U.S. and unlimited international messaging from the U.S. to select countries.

"Mobile Share Value plan customers can bring their own device or purchase a phone at full retail price," AT&T said.

The wireless carrier battles have been heating up over the past few months as one company cuts prices or eliminates contracts or gives away gift cards leading a rival company to better that deal.

The news is welcomed by consumers who can really shop around for which provider will give them the best deal and surely get a good one.
