Rapper Bow Wow and actress Brittany Snow are celebrating their birthdays today.
Bow Wow, 27
Rapper and actor Bow Wow turns 27 today. Born Shad Gregory Moss, Bow Wow credits Jermaine Dupri for shaping his career. He released his debut album in 2000 entitled Beware of Dog. Under the name Lil Bow Wow. His debut album fetured the tracks "Bounce with Me," "Bow Wow (That's My Name)," and was certified double platinum. His second album, Doggy Bag, was certified platinum and featured hits like "Take Me Home," and "Basketball." After the release of his second album, he dicided to drop the "Lil" out of his stage name due to the fact that he was getting older.
Bow Wow went on to release four more studio albums; Unleashed (2003), Wanted (2005), The Price of Fame (2006), and New Jack City II (2009). He made television appearances in shows like Moesha, The Steve Harvey Show, and Brothers Garcia. He made his film debut in 2002's Like Mike. Since then he has had leading and supporting roles in Johnson Family Vacation, Roll Bounce, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and Madea's Big Happy Family.
Bow Wow is currently working on his new album entitled Underrated, set to release sometime next year.
Brittany Snow, 28
Film and television actress and singer Brittany Snow turns 28 today. Snow made her television debut on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light in 1992. She earned a Young Artist Award for her role, and was nominated for two more, as well as a Soap Opera Digest Award. Snow went on to play Meg Pryor on NBC's American Dreams, and has a recurring role on season three of Nip/Tuck.
Snow made her film debut in The Pacifier (2005) opposite Vin Diesel. She went on to play Amber Von Tussle in the musical film adaptation of the Broadway hit Hairspray. She has also appeared in films like John Tucker Must Die, Prom Night, Finding Amanda, and 96 Minutes.
Snow played Chloe Beale in the musical comedy Pitch Perfect, a film that follows a group of a capella singers. Snow is currently working on Pitch Perfect 2, scheduled to release sometime next year.
