This week, Beyoncé announced a summer tour, which she will embark on beginning in June and end in early August. She will coheadline the tour called the On the Run Tour along with her husband and rap mogul, Jay-Z. They will be performing in stadiums all over the country and are sure to sell out each one. On Tuesday, the presales began for the tour and quickly sold out.
Last December, Beyoncé shocked the world when she released a full-length album on iTunes without any promotion or advertisement. The album, rightfully titled Beyoncé, shot to number one in a matter of minutes and was the talk of the town for weeks. Her single “Drunk in Love” off the album continues to dominate radio and the performance of the song on the 56th annual Grammy Awards is one of the best performances of the year so far.
