Everyday it appears that another musician is announcing a full summer tour, next up to announce their tour is the Zac Brown Band. This has been a busy year for the group, they have added a member, released a new single and are working on a new album.
The upcoming "Great American Road Trip" tour will start on May 24 in Lincoln and the band will be going across the United States through August.
Billboard reported that the band has added bass player Matt Mangano to the lineup. Mangano is known for his work with John Mayer and has worked with the Zac Brown Band before, he appeared with them on stage and worked with the group on The Grohl Sessions, Vol. 1.
Zac Brown spoke about the recent lineup change explaining that it is important for the band to keep growing musically. "We're always growing as musicians and challenging ourselves to bring new things to our fans. Hop is an amazing talent and I can't wait for people to see what we've got coming for the live show," said Brown.
Country Weekly added that this news come fresh off the group releasing their latest single off of The Grohl Sessions, Vol. 1, "All Alright."
