Hunter Hayes breaks Guinness World Record

Country singer, Hunter Hayes has now become a member of the Guinness World records for the most concerts played in multiple cities in 24 hours. This record breaking event was all in part to help end child hunger.

The old record was held by by Jay-Z and The Flaming Lips who held and performed eight concerts in 24 hours.

Billboard reported that starting yesterday with a performance on Good Morning America and Hayes played 10 shows in 10 cities all within a 24 hour window, ABC reported.

This tour world wind that Hayes went on was in partnership with ConAgra Foods to help raise awareness for child hunger.

The concerts made stops in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The "Wanted" singer concluded the ten shows in Philadelphia with a 5 a.m. concert that took place at the Trocadero in Philadelphia.

Hayes was not alone for most of the stops, he brought along fellow country artists Dan + Shay, Charlie Worsham, the Railers, Dean Alexander and Matt Sucich to help with the ten shows.
