Reality star Kim Kardashian was banned from meeting President Barack Obama at a event.

Radar Online exclusively reports how President Obama was in Los Angeles on May 7, to accept the "Ambassador for Humanity” honor at Steven Spielberg‘s USC Shoah Foundation event, and Kardashian was seated near President Obama and wanted to meet him. However, a source says, "Obama’s table and surrounding area was swarming with Secret Service, and security was very tight." The source adds that a person from Kardashian's team was informed to go away and that Kardashian could not meet the president.

President Obama is not a fan of Kardashian or her reality TV family. According to the Los Angeles Times, during an interview last July President Obama discussed how Kardashian and fiancee Kanye West have influence young people by their flashy lifestyle. President Obama said, "I do think what's shifted is a notion that the wealthier you are, the more conspicuous consumption you engage in."
Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner didn't like the comments President Obama made about her daughter. The Huffington Post reports how Jenner responded by saying, "I bet the President has some friends with 10,000 square foot houses and that he wouldn’t mind going over there… when [he was] asking them to have a party for [him] while [he was] campaigning for dollars to run for president".
