Sir Paul McCartney has had to cancel two additional shows due to a recent illness. McCartney canceled his show in Tokyo this Sunday along with the makeup performance that was scheduled a day earlier.
Billboard reported that McCartney did apologize to fans and explained that he is still covering from an virus which is why he could not take the stage.
The former Beatle, explained that he did want to perform on Sunday against the orders of a medical professional but his team did not allow him to play. McCartney is currently on his "Out There Japan Tour 2014."
The "Live and Let Die" singer released the following statement for fans. "Unfortunately my condition has not improved overnight," he said. "I was really hoping that I'd be feeling better today. I'm so disappointed and sorry to be letting my fans down."
It appears that he can down with this illness on Friday. Shortly after not feeling well he cancelled his Saturday concert at the National Stadium in Tokyo.
The statement ended with a message from McCartney's team which explained that they are following the orders to have the singer rest, The Guardian reported. “Doctors have ordered Paul to complete rest and he has been doing all he can to get better.”
