Drake and Lil’ Wayne announce 31-city co-headlining tour

Drake and Lil’ Wayne will be teaming up for a 31 city co-headlining tour which is set to kick off in August 8 at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Center, NY.

Billboard reported that tickets for the tour will go on sale Friday, June 20th through Live Nation.

Wayne is still working on his latest album Tha Carter V but no release date has yet to be announced for the studio album. Drake is currently on the charts with his latest hit, "Hold On We're Going Home."

Before Drake heads out on the road with Lil’ Wayne he will first be headlining the 5th annual OVO festival in Toronto on August 4th, Rap-Up.com reported.

The musical pairing is being titled, The Drake vs. Lil’ Wayne tour, will be making stops in New York, Illinois, Georgia and North Carolina.

The two have a long musical history together, working on each other’s albums and Wayne being one of the main reasons that Drake is signed to his label, Young Money records.
