Feuding musicians Jack White and The Black Keys celebrated with restaurant menu items

Jack White has made it clear that has no intention of dropping his grudge against The Black Keys for supposedly stealing his musical style. Now, the battle of words may become a food fight as the two artists are celebrated in ice cream and burger form.

According to Pitchfork, eateries on opposite sides of the Pacific have unintentionally declared sides in the musicians' feud by christening menu items in honor of one or the other.

Beginning July 1st, Los Angeles-based Umami Burger will continue its "artist series" of menu items with The Black Keys' Akron Burger, which includes a six-ounce beef patty, Velveeta fondue, "secret sauce", yellow mustard, chopped onions, and dill pickles. Fans who purchase an Akron Burger will not only donate $1 to The Black Keys Alfred McMoore Memorial Endowment Fund, but they'll also be entered to win tickets to the Keys' upcoming LA gig and other band memorabilia.

Meanwhile, MTV reports that Australia's Gelato Messina is celebrating Jack White's new album Lazaretto with something fittingly off-kilter. The new flavor, called Jack 'N White, is made of caramelized white chocolate gelato swirled with caramelized pecans, fudge, and Jack Daniels whiskey. Hopefully the decadent new flavor will sell as quickly as the new record - which debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts and broke the record for most vinyl LPs sold at release - because it'll only be offered for the next week.
