Beyonce gets Rock Hall exhibit, will include Super Bowl outfit

Beyonce might not still be eligible to join the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but that doesn’t mean the Cleveland museum can’t toast Queen Bey. The museum announced the first exhibit to focus on the “Drunk in Love” singer.

The exhibit will open on Tuesday in the Ahmet Ertegun Main Exhibit Hall in Legends of Rock. It will be the first time that Beyonce is showing off items and clothing from her personal collection.

One of the many highlights will include her Rubin Singer black outfit from the Super Bowl performance. The Givenchy black beaded and purple feather mermaid gown that she wore at the 2012 Met Gala will also be on display.

Other items that will be on display are her outfits from the “Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies” and “Sweet Dreams” videos.

Beyonce is such a cultural powerhouse that she is the first artist to get a Rock Hall exhibit before joining the Hall of Fame. She won’t actually be eligible until 25 years after her first solo release. She broke into the music industry as a member of Destiny’s Child.

As if this honor wan’t enough, the news comes a day after she earned eight nominations for the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Her “Drunk in Love” video with husband Jay Z is up for Video of the Year.
