The Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Water made headlines on Monday for tweeting – most likely on accident – that they had been playing Kim Kardashian’s new Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app game.
The tweet has since been deleted but it read, “I'm now a C-list celebrity in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. Come join me and become famous too by playing on iPhone!" The bizarre message prompted Twitter users to retweet it nearly 3,000 times.
In response, the EPA said they were happy about the extra attention the tweet brought their organization.
“Whoops…our bad. Sorry about tweet. Upside - more attention for the Office of Water (http://water.epa.gov ), thanks @KimKardashian,” they tweeted.

It isn’t clear if an employee had been playing the game and accidentally posted the message or if the account had been hacked. Either way, the game’s developers were clearly amused.
“Keep at it @EPAwater, you'll get there. #AList #WillowPapeIsTheWorst #KimKardashianGame,” Glu Games tweeted.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star hasn't responded to the incident.
