Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Jack White and Dave Matthews headlining 2014 Farm Aid

The annual Farm Aid concert to benefit the farmers of America will feature Neil Young, Dave Matthews, Willie Nelson and Jack White. This year, the concert will be held at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre in Raleigh, North Carolina.

In addition to Young, Nelson, Matthews and White, the other performers will be John Mellencamp, Tim Reynolds, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Jamey Johnson, Delta Rae, Carlene Carter, Pegi Young & The Survivors, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Insects vs Robots.

The 2014 concert is also going high-tech with a Farm Aid 2014 App, which will be available soon for Android and iPhone smartphones. Audiences can put together their own schedules to pick which artists they hope to see and which workshops they want to attend at the HOMEGROWN Village. The app will also include extra information on HOMEGROWN food and exhibitions.

“In North Carolina and across the Southeast, family farmers have struggled to stay on the land, but they have also pioneered new roads to economic sustainability,” Nelson, the president of Farm Aid, said in a statement to Rolling Stone. “This region knows the value of its farmers and offers increasing opportunities for new farmers to build a strong regional food system.”

Farm Aid has been held every year since 1985, only being skipped in 1988 and 1991. This year’s concert is set for Sept. 13 with tickets going on sale on Aug. 1.

Last year’s concert at the Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center was particularly memorable, as it was Pete Seeger’s last big public performance.
