Jerry Seinfeld is a semi-fictionalized version of the comedian Jerry Seinfeld on the hit sitcom Seinfeld (1989-1998), played by Jerry Seinfeld. He is the main protagonist in the show and for all intents and purposes is the normal one among the group of four friends. He is also the only character on the show that retains the same job throughout the series and he rarely runs into problems with his personal life.
