Growing up, many of us rooted for former Disney stars Hilary Duff and Aaron Carter to stay together forever. Now, it looks like that will never happen.
During a recent interview with BuzzFeed, when asked about their past relationship, the Chasing the Sun singer confirmed that she will never get back with former boyfriend Aaron Carter- who has announced his love for her to all his Twitter followers.
"I was not expecting this question," Duff said with a laugh. "He does, I keep seeing that, that he keeps doing that. I don't know how I feel. I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I'm still married and I have a baby and we kind of just…don't know each other. So, yeah…"
Just after Duff split up from husband Mike Comrie, Carter posted on Twitter, "Don't be that stupid douche that loses that love of your life forever. Like me…I'll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don't care what any of you think."

Then, when asked by a fan whether or not he was referring to Duff, Carter replied, "Sure am."
E! News states that during an interview with The Kyle & Jackie O Show, the actress said that although her and the father of her two-year-old son, Luca, are not together currently, there is still a chance of them getting back together.
"I mean, if there wasn't a chance for getting back [together], I think we would've filed for divorce," she said.
