The cast for Showtime’s new Happyish pilot will have at least one star who appeared in the original version with Philip Seymour Hoffman. Kathryn Hahn has agreed to return, opposite new star Steve Coogan.

Coogan was picked as Hoffman’s last month, as Showtime has decided to completely scrap the version that starred the late Oscar winner. Instead, the show is going back to the pilot stage, with Coogan starring as Thom Payne, an ageing executive in a quickly changing workplace environment.

According to Deadline, Hahn will play the same role she had in the Hoffman pilot. She will play Lee, Thom’s wife and the mother of their six-year-old son. She thinks that people are mostly good, but is really annoyed to find out that it’s not true.

Ken Kwapis is directing the pilot, which is expected to start filming next month in New York. Shalom Auslander created the series.

Hahn was recently seen on the big screen in This Is Where I Leave You and We’re The Millers. She also stars in Amazon’s Transparent and has recurring roles on Parks & Recreation and Girls.
