NBC has announced the hosts for the last three Saturday Night Live episodes of the year. Hopefully, the writing will be up to the level of star power headlining each show.
On Dec. 6, James Franco will host his third SNL episode. Nicki Minaj will also be making her second appearance as the musical guest. The show is timed for the release of Franco and Seth Rogen’s The Interview on Christmas Day. Minaj is also set to release The Pink-Print the week after the episode.
Sherlock star Martin Freeman will host the Dec. 13 episode, while Charli XCX will be his musical guest. Freeman stars as Bilbo Baggins one final time in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, which opens on Dec. 17. Charli XCX, who appeared on Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” has a new album coming out.
Amy Adams will make her second SNL appearance on Dec. 20 to spread the word for her new movie, Tim Burton’s Big Eyes. One Direction will make their third appearance on the show that night as well.
This weekend’s host is Cameron Diaz, with Mick Ronson and Bruno Mars performing.
