Dustin Diamond, who played Screech on Saved by the Bell, has been arrested in Wisconsin today for reckless behavior and possession of a switchblade.
The Ozaukee County Sheriff told TMZ that Diamond was arrested early this morning. He has been charged with reckless endangerment, possession of a switchblade and carrying a concealed weapon.
The circumstances of the arrest are currently unknown, but a TMZ source said that he got into a bar fight.
According to Fox News, Diamond was held at the Ozaukee jail. He is being held on $1,000 bail.
Although Diamond hasn’t found much success since the original Saved by the Bell ended in 1993, he has found ways to stay in the headlines. In 2006, he made his own sex tape and wrote a controversial book in 2009 about the making of Saved by the Bell. He recently made a movie called College Fright Night.
That book was turned into a Lifetime movie earlier this year which his former co-star, Mark-Paul Gosselaar wasn’t too happy about.
