Singer Labrinth and chef Graham Elliot are celebrating their birthdays today, January 4.

Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer Labrinth turns 26 today. Born Timothy McKenzie, Labrinth was initially tipped to work as a producer, but Simon Cowell signed him to his record label Syco Music as a solo act. Labrinth made his debut appearance on the UK Singles Chart in March 2010, when his collaboration with rapper Tinie Tempah for the single "Pass Out" reached No. 1.

Labrinth's first solo single, "Let the Sun Shine," was released in September 2010, reaching No. 3 on the UK charts. His debut album, Electronic Earth, was released in March 2012. The singles "Earthquake" featuring Tinie Tempah and "Last Time" both peaked at No. 2 and No. 4 respectively. He had his first No. 1 UK single with "Beneath Your Beautiful" featuring Emeli Sandé.

Labrinth is currently working on his second studio album, Take Me to the Truth. He has written with Ed Sheeran for the album. He also appeared on two tracks for Tinie Tempah's second studio album, Demonstration; "Lover Not a Fighter" and the album track "It's OK."

Chef Graham Elliot turns 38 today. Elliot's first position following culinary school was at the Mansion on Turtle Creek. He then went to The Jackson House Inn & Restaurant in Woodstock, Vermont. He was named one of the ten Best New Chefs of 2004 by Food & Wine Magazine.

Elliot later worked at Avenues at The Peninsula hotel, in Chicago, where he received numerous accolades. Under Elliot, Avenue earned a four-star rating from the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago magazine as well as a AAA Five Diamond Award.

In 2009, he appeared on the TV show Top Chef Masters. In 2010, Elliot became a judge on the US version of the reality show MasterChef, along with Gordon Ramsay and Joe Bastianich. He appeared as the Culinary Ambassador at Lollapalooza 2010. In 2013, he was also a judge for the cooking competition television series MasterChef Junior.

Elliot and his wife Allie have two sons, Conrad and Jedediah Lindsay. He has another son, Mylo, from a previous marriage.
