Liam Hemsworth might be landing another huge movie role!

Hemsworth, who is known for his role as Gale in The Hunger Games movies, has reportedly be offered the leading role in the upcoming sequel to blockbuster film Independence Day, according to E! News.

In 2013, the film's director Roland Emmerich told Entertainment Weekly that a sequel would happen 20 years after the release of the original 1996 blockbuster. On January 16th, Emmerich tweeted out a photo of himself with the scouting screw in Santa Fe writing, “Meet the scouting crew for #IndependenceDay 2! @20thcenturyfox @HaraldKloser Missing @Dean_Devlin!”

The 25-year-old actor has yet to comment on the report, but on January 27th, screenwriter Carter Blanchard, who has taken part in rewriting the script according to E!, tweeted out a the link from The Wrap, who first reported the news of Hemsworth being offered the role saying, “Great choice for the lead in ID4ever! Hope he accepts the offer.”

On October 31st Hemsworth received another compliment via Twitter from producer Harald Kloser. He tweeted a photo of himself with Hemsworth saying “Met this guy today. Liam is amazingly chill. Hope we get to work together!”

The film, which is reportedly titled ID Forever is set to hit theaters on June 24th, 2016, almost exactly 20 years after the release date of the original film.
