Justin Bieber is opening up about his new music and is explaining that his relationship and heartbreak with Selena Gomez is what inspired the music.
US Magazine reported that Bieber told Ryan Seacrest that most of his new music was inspired by his relationship with Gomez.
"I think a lot of my inspiration comes from [Selena]," explained Bieber. "It was a long relationship that created heartbreak and created happiness and a lot of different emotions that I wanted to write about. There’s a lot of that on this album."
Bieber's last musical effort was 2013's Journals and now he is turning his sights on a new album and working with Kanye West. "He just pushes you. He definitely wants it to be my way and my direction and he doesn’t want to steal what I want. That’s why artists like to go to him, because he pulls something out of you that other people don’t," said Bieber.
Gomez also channeled her feelings about the relationship within her music and released the popular single, "The Heart Wants What It Wants." The young pop star explained that Bieber was truly her first love and that her next relationship will be different because that is part of growing up, Entertainment Tonight added.
