Lil Wayne’s issues with his label, YMCMB, haven’t been resolved yet judging by an incident that occurred onstage during his concert in Jacksonville, Fla. on Thursday night.
Despite their dispute over Tha Carter V, he assured fans it will be coming out regardless. He then let his feelings on the label known.
“Free Weezy album coming soon; Carter V coming soon,” he told the crowd before declaring “F–k Cash Money” and dropping his microphone, MTV News reports.
The issues Wayne is having with Birdman over at Young Money became public back in December when Wayne tweeted he wanted “off this label and nothing to do with these people.” He also said they “refuse” to release Tha Carter V.
He then released the mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait 2, where he took plenty of shots at Birdman. He’s also reportedly suing Birdman for $51 million.
