Move over Mad Max, the ladies are getting ready to take over the box office this weekend with Pitch Perfect 2.
Pitch Perfect 2 features the return of Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson. It also marks the directorial debut for Elizabeth Banks. Perfect has already grossed $28 million and is on track to bring in over $62 million dollars for its debut weekend, The Hollywood Reporter added.
The sequel to Pitch Perfect only cost Universal studios $29 million to make. The original Perfect grossed over $115 million at the worldwide box office.
George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road has already made $16.8 million at the box office and is projected to earn around $40 million before the weekend is over. Fury Road stars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.
Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron is looking like it will come in third place at the box office this weekend, Deadline reported.
