Rumors about who will perform at next year’s Super Bowl halftime show are already starting, with Taylor Swift at the center of them.
It’s been reported the “Bad Blood” singer, 25, will follow up her rival, Katy Perry’s headlining performance from this year but other sources say it can’t happen because of one of her big endorsement deals.
A source told Access Hollywood a Swift halftime performance is “not happening” due to her existing endorsement deal with Diet Coke. The Super Bowl halftime show is sponsored by Pepsi.
Other sources told RadarOnline at this point the deal is “hers to refuse.”
“Her team is working out the final details,” the source claimed.
If Swift does become the next Super Bowl halftime show performer, she will have a lot to live up to. Perry’s larger than life performance included fire, riding in on a giant, robotic lion and dancing sharks.
