Dwayne Johnson says running for president in 2020 still a very 'real possibility’

Can you smell what President Johnson is cooking?

It seems that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been cooking up the idea of running for president in the next election and in a recent GQ interview said that it is "a real possibility."

“A year ago, it started coming up more and more,” Johnson explained. “There was a real sense of earnestness, which made me go home and think, ‘Let me really rethink my answer and make sure I am giving an answer that is truthful and also respectful.’ I didn’t want to be flippant — ‘We’ll have three days off for a weekend! No taxes!’”

So after pondering the idea the Fate of the Furious star declared, “I think it’s a real possibility.”

Who wouldn't want Johnson to run? Not only would he likely have a smooth transition into office considering the way he was able to successfully transition from pro wrestling to acting, but he's also labeled as one of the nicest, most genuine people in Hollywood. We could always use a genuine politician.

And he already picked up an endorsement from filmmaker Michael Moore who told Variety, “Run the Rock! Run the Rock. Who do you want for commander in chief? I want the f**king Rock! It would scare anybody that would hurt us.”

Given how the 2016 election went, we now know that you don't have to be career politician or have any experience at all in politics to run for and get elected president.

The only question we have for Johnson now is who would be his running mate? John Cena anyone?
