Remember Chuck? The NBC series about the Buy More employee who was also a super-secret spy that just celebrated it’s ten year anniversary? Watch some of these old promos in case you need a further reminder:
The show has been off the air for over five years now, but lead star of the title character Zachary Levi still has hopes that a movie could be made. The two-hour long finale — which aired in 2012 — left room for further stories to be told, and fans have been clamoring for it ever since the show went off the air.
Today marks 10 years since #Chuck vs the Intersect premiered. Crazy!😱 Still one of the best TV shows ever!

When asked about the chances of a Chuck feature-film by Entertainment Weekly, Levi replied: “I’d love to do it. As far as I know, I’m the only person who’s affiliated with the show that’s been trying to make it happen on some level. I’ve had meetings with various people. There’s just so many moving parts. The answer is I’d love to still make it happen, even if it’s 10 years down the line. Because of the world, it could still be plausible.”
Levi was asked a similar question by Indie Wire this past July, in which he gave the hopeful answer: “I do believe wholeheartedly that there will be a day, a day and the timing will be right and we’ll have a script and we’ll have the money and the schedules will work out and it will be so fun. I’d love to give the fans and us more chapters of Chuck.”

So, if we’re going to believe Levi, it sounds like a Chuck film will some day happen — something we'll be first in line to actually see. When that day will come is currently unclear, but unfortunately it sounds like it might be awhile. I guess, for now, we’re just going to have to celebrate the 10th anniversary by binge-watching the entire show for the billionth time instead.
