NCAAD and Facing Addiction offer free resources to battle addiction

As the CEO of National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCAAD)  James W. Hood understands addiction.  With about 21 million people currently suffering and 23+ million more living in long-term recovery, addiction to alcohol and other drugs impacts one in every three households in America.

Addicts often feel shame and embarrassment and don't know where to go to get the help that they need, but the team at NCAAD is here to help.

For more than 70 years, NCADD has been a valuable resource for millions of people (and their families) who are struggling with alcoholism and addiction. Facing Addiction with NCADD has 70 affiliate organizations, as well as more than 800 Action Network Partners, representing more than 35 million people nationwide.
