‘Big Brother 20’ recap: ‘Who were the next two houseguests put on the chopping block?’

It’s Day 16 in the Big Brother house and the house still seems a bit on edge after the eviction. The FOUTTE side of the house is surprised. Level 6 is very happy. Tyler got out with the least amount of blood on his hands. Sam is happy she didn’t have to use her power and Swaggy C is obviously upset. Kaitlyn was the deciding vote and now she is in power.

It’s pretty obvious now that the house is split in two. Level 6 wants Swaggy C out while the majority of FOUTEE wants Winston out. Winston and Swaggy C have made it clear that they want each other out.

Kaitlyn is in power and since she is technically working with both sides of the house, it is going to be interesting to see where her true loyalties lie. Tyler is also playing a good game so far but I think he needs to pull back just a little bit. He goes to talk with HOH Kaitlyn about the idea of getting Swaggy C out. Kaitlyn says she does want to make a big move and backdooring Swaggy C is definitely a big move.

Kaitlyn is also off to a great start as HOH. She starts talking with each HG about her potential moves for the week. She talks to Sam about Sam’s power and her plan for the week. She tells Winston she is going to backdoor Swaggy C but nominate him. She tells Scottie she is putting him up as a pawn. She tells Swaggy C she is going after Winston. She is playing smart but needs to be careful and make sure the stories are staying straight. I like the potential of this big move that she is planning to make. She thinks she deserves a “Daytime Emmy” for her performance.

The BB App Store is open again. The HG each go inside one at a time and find out if they are the most trending for a power app or the least trending for a crap app. Rachel turns out to be the least trending HG and it really upsets her. She selects the Yell app, which means someone will be randomly coming into the house and yelling at her. Tyler turns out to be the most trending HG for the week. He gets the Cloud app, which means he can keep himself safe at a nomination ceremony or a veto meeting for two months.

Random thoughts from the episode so far. The Swaggy C/Bayleigh showmance is now called “Swayleigh.” I hope it doesn’t last. Watching Rachel shave JC’s back was truly painful to watch. I learned that yatus means a period of time where nothing happens. I don’t think I want to eat ham anytime soon after watching Faysal’s hamazon punishment. It is always hilarious watching Swaggy C get denied at the app store.

Swaggy C, Scottie and Faysal don’t like Kaitlyn’s plan and it’s stressing out Scottie. Faysal tries to work some magic on her but it doesn’t seem to work and he is not totally sure what Kaitlyn is thinking. Kaitlyn assures Scottie that he is not her target this week (without revealing her plan to backdoor Swaggy C).

It’s time for the Nomination Ceremony. I’m hoping Kaitlyn follows through with her plan. She does as she nominates Scottie & Winston for eviction. She tells Scottie she thought he was being selfish for discussing saving Steve last week and she told Winston he isn’t playing an authentic game. Good speech for Kaitlyn as it doesn’t reveal any intention of her real plan to backdoor Swaggy C this week. This will be excellent as long as the POV competition goes as planned.

Who will win the Power of Veto? Will it be used to save Scottie or Winston from eviction?

Find out on the next new episode of Big Brother this Wednesday night at 8 p.m. only on CBS!
