‘The Vow’ expected to lead record-breaking pre-Valentine’s Day weekend box office numbers

There are a total of four major releases hitting theaters this weekend before Valentine’s Day. The romantic drama The Vow with Channing Tatum is expected to beat Denzel Washington’s Safe House thriller, Dwayne Johnson’s Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and the 3D re-release of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace all hit theaters this weekend. Moviegoers are expected to be in a romantic mood, so it should be no surprise that The Vow is expected to come out on top.
