Superhero porn isn't anything new; the past thirty years or so are littered with them, most of them cheesy, low budget things. But we should be seeing a whole onslaught of superhero porn of the highest quality possible in the near future according to Reuters.
Batman XXX: A Porn Parody, hitting adult stores May 24, is just the first in a long line of skin-flicks coming from Vivid Entertainment, who just announced the creation of the imprint Vivid-Superhero. Promised are down n' dirty movies of Superman (already in preproduction), the Green Hornet, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Thor and the Incredible Hulk.
What Vivid claims to have going for it, and Batman XXX's popularity attests to it, is "the high production values and eye to detail such as hiring the original TV show's costume designers to re-create outfits," reports Reuters.
"Axel [Braun] truly did an amazing job with Batman XXX, and we agreed that together we could mine the really rich treasure of superheroes and have a lot of fun doing it," Vivid founder Steven Hirsch said to Reuters.
Braun will function as the lead director for Vivid-Superhero. He is also working on Godfather XXX and The Addams Family XXX.
