In a gray suit and Chuck Taylors, Robert Downey Jr. listed his three favorite movies.

Coincidently, he stars in all three. Downey lists Tropic Thunder, Iron Man, and Sherlock Holmes as the movies he enjoyed making the most. He added that Iron Man was the movie he wanted to be a part of the most, but he researched more for his role in Chaplin.

"Those three movies are the most representative of my work," he explained. “I'm just glad that I didn't cheese out and phone in a performance on films that did so well."

Downey revealed that and more to his interviewers, after receiving the Gene Siskel Film Center's Renaissance Award, held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

The film center gave their award to the 45 year-old, Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winning actor, because "he is one of the most respected and versatile actors of his generation," quotes the Chicago Sun Times.
