In the wake of cancelling Private Practice ABC has announced that they are adding additional scripts to some new favorites, 666 Park Avenue and Last Resort.
While both shows got off to a rocky start, according to Examiner once DVR play was incorporated into the viewer statistics they each got a significant bump that helped the decision to keep them.
666 Park Avenue is a supernatural game of desire, with some haunting mysteries that revolve around the Drake Apartments. It stars Rachael Taylor, Dave Annable, Vanessa Williams and Terry O'Quinn and is loosely based on a novel by Gabriella Pierce. Watch as the tenants deepest desires are fulfilled, but for a high price - their souls.
Last Resort is a military drama about a ballistic missile submarine, fictional USS Colorado, that has defied questionable orders and attacked by U.S. forces. It stars Andre Braugher and Scott Speedman. It's a game of war and politics that bounces from a tropical island to Washington DC, the crew fights for their honor and loved ones at home.
According to Huffington Post ABC also extended are the popular series Modern Family, Grey's Anatomy and The Middle and Castle. Viewers will get a bonus 2-3 more episodes per show of these favorites.
