Frank Grillo has been cast as Crossbones in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

According to E! News, Grillo's character Crossbones first debuted in 1989 as Brock Rumlow who was a leader of the Savage Crims gang in New York's lower East Side. Rumlow then joined a school for criminals and became a henchman of the Red Skull, the villian from the first Captain America movie. From there, he went by the code name Crossbones.
Grillo has appeared in End of Watch and The Grey and can next be seen in Gangster Squad and Zero Dark Thirty, as reported by Variety.
Fans can look forward to seeing Chris Evans again as the star-spangled Captain America as well as the return of Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, who becomes the Winter Soldier. The cast also includes Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Scarlett Johansson and Anthony Mackie, who will play Captain America's ally The Falcon, according to Variety.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is set to open in theaters on April 4, 2014.
