Sunday night’s new episode of Once Upon A Time acted as a positive lift to not only the show’s ratings but fellow ABC show ratings as well.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode called "The Crocodile" drew in 9.7 million viewers and delivered a 3.3 in the adults 18-49 demographic.

"The Crocodile" introduced a new Fairytale Land character that goes by the name Killian Jones or more recognizably, Captain Hook. Hook is played by Colin O'Donoghue and as Digital Spy puts it, he's "both easy to get behind and fun to watch."

Not only did Once Upon A Time's ratings rise but it also benefited ABC's following shows on Sunday night.

Entertainment Weekly revealed that Revenge's ratings went up 8 percent and 666 Park Avenue went up 20 percent drawing in a surprising rating increase for the new show.

All of these ratings increases were received despite going up against FOX's live baseball coverage and NBC's Sunday Night Football.
